***NEW
EP - 'Edrych Yn Llygaid Ceffyl Benthyg' (13/03/08)***
Greetings from the Cate Le Bon Camp. The upkeep of the
website has been shambolic to say the least. For this we are sorry.
Consider it rectified.
Cate has been busy over the past few months gigging and recording.
Finally she is to release her debut Welsh EP ‘Edrych Yn Llygaid
Ceffyl Benthyg’ on Cardiff Based Peski
Label. Cate played most of the core instruments on the
EP herself and then enlisted the help of Huw Evans on badass bass,
Sion Glyno on some face bending guitar, Heddwyn Davies on Viola
and a few Cardiffian singers to back her up. Expect some beautiful
shonkyness, dog whistling and an unwanted Kazoo. Cate has also been
fortunate in having no other than Andy Votel creating the artwork
for the EP and it looks amazing, we’ll post up a picture once
we feel you’re ready for it. If you haven’t already
heard the new songs head over to the myspace
and give them a listen, we’ve posted two up ‘Hwylio
Mewn Cyfog’ and ‘Byw heb Farw’.
A tour is sure to coincide with the release, we are currently trying
to put this together and will post the dates up as soon as it’s
all confirmed.
